Create a like-for-like baseline

Measure the current task that the robot would take over. Record the area actually cleaned, frequency, staff attendance, consumables and the required finish. Avoid comparing a robot’s theoretical coverage with an entire employee shift that also includes bins, bathrooms and other work. Those are different scopes and will produce a misleading result.

Include the ongoing routine

A complete comparison includes equipment or rental cost, service, consumables, charging, water handling and the human time needed to care for the machine. It should also consider route preparation and exceptions. Hours made available for other work are valuable, but they are not automatically cash savings. Describe whether the intended benefit is reduced purchased cleaning time, additional cleaning capacity or a different allocation of staff effort.

Check the result after the trial

Use the same inspection criteria for manual and robotic cleaning. Compare a normal week with a normal week and explain any difference in occupancy, soil or cleaning frequency. Keep the assumptions visible so the proposal can be updated later. Our ROI calculator is a starting point for a conversation; a site survey and trial should supply the inputs for a purchasing decision. Choose the solution whose result you can verify and whose support arrangements you understand.

TL ROBOTICS practical perspective. Site suitability and outcomes should be confirmed through assessment and a representative trial.
