The challenge
Busy public areas required frequent floor cleaning while the service team also managed detailed cleaning responsibilities.
The deployment
Two Phantas robots with charging docks were introduced in March 2025. Darlim supported the deployment for Acciona Facility Services. The robots handled repeated floor tasks while personnel focused on work such as surface disinfection and windows.
Reported outcomes
According to Gausium, Acciona reported improved cleaning consistency and more effective use of staff time. The robots supported the cleaning team; floor automation did not replace infection-control procedures.
